Erin has been teaching and inspiring dancers for over 25 years. A lifelong performer, she grew up dancing and competing with several studios throughout Northern Illinois, where she developed a strong foundation in many styles of dance, with a particular passion for Tap and Musical Theatre.
As a teenager, Erin began choreographing for the CBA’s Rockford Lightning dance team — the Lightning Girls — an impressive early milestone that showcased her creativity and leadership. Over the years, she has continued to share her talents by choreographing for various local theater productions, where her work has been praised for its energy, storytelling, and attention to musical detail.
Before joining Byron Dance Academy, Erin owned and operated her own dance studio, where she not only taught proper technique but also fostered creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for performance. Many of her students have gone on to pursue dance professionally — performing with programs and companies across the country — while others have continued their passion through college dance teams and community productions.
Erin is dedicated to creating a positive, motivating, and inclusive environment for every dancer she works with. She believes dance is a powerful tool for self-expression and personal growth, and she strives to inspire each student to reach their full potential both in and out of the studio.
