Beginner's Musical Theatre Exploration
Do you enjoy being on stage or have you ever wanted to try? Students will sing, dance, and act. They'll build confidence as they engage in acting exercises and collaborative scene work, receive group vocal training, and take on challenging blocking and choreography all to age-appropriate and popular Broadway songs from "In the Heights," "Hairspray," "Annie," "Beauty and the Beast," "Aida," and "Frozen." Ages 7-10.
Top Notch Performers
This class is for every level of performer! We will assist each student to pick a song that best showcases their voice. For four weeks, we'll help each student tackle their song. The students will get private coaching, feedback, and peer support on how to sing and act the song, along with weekly performance experience! Ages 7-10 & 11-15.
Musical Theatre Auditions
Come learn the importance of every aspect of auditions. We'll teach you how to prepare for auditions, what song selections are best to pick for various auditions, and the many different ways auditions could be run. We'll even run through mock auditions our last week of class! Learn about acting as we explore characters and creatures of the wizarding world. Ages 11-15.
Mommy & Me Creative Movement
Come with your little one to stretch, dance and learn basic movements together! This class will focus on gross motor movements such as crawling, rolling over, walking, and doing simple somersaults. We will learn songs as well as learning simple sign language as a way to communicate. Ages 9 months - 3 years.
Theatre magic is far more than the performers on stage! Let's explore the special effects of theater! We'll spend each week diving into a new, technical aspect including lights, sound, costumes, hair and makeup, set building construction and design, and stage management. These hands-on activities teach valuable lessons for both the arts and the home! Ages 7-10.
